What started as a dream of raising Texas Longhorns became a reality in 2020 for John and Sarah Fisher, owners of Sugar Valley Farm in Burton, Ohio.

Since bringing Longhorns to the farm, John and Sarah have focused on building a herd of quality breeding stock with an emphasis on eye-catching color, beautiful twist, sound conformation, and the traits that make the Texas Longhorn breed so unique. They enjoy watching each animal develop and making thoughtful breeding decisions as the herd continues to grow.

But there is more to Sugar Valley Farm than Longhorns. The farm is also home to horses and a maple syrup operation, making every season a little different.

Visitors are always welcome. Whether you want to see the Longhorns, visit the horses, or stop by during maple syrup season to see how it’s made, John and Sarah enjoy sharing the farm with others.
